As the Demand Generation Lead at Dovetail, you will be responsible for increasing our sales-qualified pipeline sourced from marketing. In this key role, you’ll optimize our existing channels, run experiments to unlock new channels, manage our B2B lifecycle marketing, and report on key metrics. You’ll also work closely with our sales and customer success teams.

What you’ll do

  • Own demand generation strategy and experiments. You’ll develop the demand generation strategy and partner with cross-functional teams to drive pipeline across a variety of tactics such as webinars, events, digital, and outbound. You’ll ideate, run and report on growth experiments to increase lead volume and marketing-sourced pipeline as well as own lead generation and pipeline targets.

  • Refine and improve lead management. You’ll work with our Revenue Ops team to refine the lead management process, ensuring effective scoring, nurturing, and hand-off to sales and optimizing the conversion paths. You’ll help us define our lead routing and nurture strategies.

  • Define and own our lifecycle marketing strategies. You’ll direct and implement lifecycle marketing strategies, guiding the self-serve to enterprise journey. You’ll work with our growth marketing team and have experience across lifecycle marketing tools such as customer.io.

  • Own analytics, lead attribution and reporting. You’ll track, analyze, and report channel marketing performance to help the business achieve sales and marketing objectives. You’ll use this data to refine future experiments and help us refine our attribution model.

Your background

  • Extensive experience in Demand Generation. A minimum 5 years of relevant experience in demand generation or growth marketing within a B2B SaaS company.

  • Deep knowledge of the Demand Generation practice. You’ll have expertise in demand generation, with a proven track record of creating and executing successful initiatives.

  • A strong technical marketing background. You’ll have strong technical acumen, including an understanding of attribution, lifecycle marketing tools and MarTech tools.

  • Analytical and problem solving mindset. You’ll have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and brainstorm and execute experiments.

  • Ability to work cross functionally. You’ll have proven ability driving cross-functional initiatives, achieve stakeholder buy-in, and making decisions.
