The Growth team works to accelerate this go-to-market model by identifying opportunities to make impactful improvements for our customers and business. The team works to identify the clearest opportunities for business impact, and then works backwards from there to execute on the biggest customer problems they can solve.
Most of our growth to date has been fuelled by a product-led strategy where word-of-mouth and an engaged community of thousands of users have seen us expand to organizations like Shopify, VMware, GitLab, Canva, Atlassian – all with minimal investment in marketing.
We’re now looking to bring on growth marketing generalists to accelerate and evolve our go-to-market motion to reach our growth goals for 2023 and beyond. In this highly visible, cross-functional role you’ll operate across the entire customer lifecycle to drive sign ups and improve onboarding, activation, conversion, and in-product expansion.
Influence growth outcomes across the entire customer lifecycle. You’ll partner cross-functionally to execute on growth initiatives across the entire customer lifecycle including web, in-product, and other channels to drive sign ups and improve onboarding, activation, conversion, and in-product expansion.
Execute on growth initiatives and strategies. You’ll help users experience core product value quickly by developing and executing strategies and experiments that have a significant impact on how new users discover, activate, and engage with Dovetail.
Think strategically to optimize for impact. You’ll need to think strategically through business opportunities, customer needs, and technical challenges to focus on the highest-leverage ideas could be massive force-multipliers for our business.
Leverage data to inform opportunities for growth. You’ll leverage data to identify areas where improvements can be made and use this data to inform projects that drive revenue, new customers, retention, and engagement.
Partner and collaborate cross-functionally. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally across product, sales, success, and operations to execute on the growth roadmap and deliver against key shared business goals.
Be customer-obsessed. You’ll understand our customers and their journey and pain points to identify optimization opportunities to drive scalable growth. You take a holistic view across the customer lifecycle, and you get energy from creating delightful, cohesive experiences that drive business outcomes.
Demonstrated B2B SaaS growth marketing experience. You have proven experience in performance marketing, user acquisition, product growth, or growth marketing functions. You understand product-led and organic growth strategies for B2B SaaS products, and ideally, have seen their implementation them before.
Depth of knowledge of high-growth, product-led B2B SaaS go-to-market strategies. You understand product-led and organic growth strategies for B2B SaaS products, and seen their implementation them before.
Excellent communicator. Excellent, concise communication so you can easily convey your thoughts, opinions, and feelings with teammates. You’re a structured thinker with a proven history of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and mobilizing cross-functional teams.
A great attitude. The right attitude towards a sense of urgency, risk, and uncertainty about the future that comes with working at an early-stage startup. This is an opportunity to be involved in an exciting journey from the very start.
Pragmatism. You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, be resourceful to solve problems, and be able to adjust to shifting deadlines and project goals. We haven’t figured everything out yet.
