We’re building a highly efficient go-to-market model where anyone who wants to understand their customers can adopt, use, and scale Dovetail without any barriers or friction. The Growth team works to accelerate this go-to-market model by identifying opportunities to make impactful improvements for our customers and business. The team works to identify the clearest opportunities for business impact, and then works backwards from there to execute on the biggest customer problems they can solve.
Most of our growth has been fuelled by a product-led strategy where word-of-mouth and an engaged community of thousands of users have seen us expand to organizations like Shopify, VMware, GitLab, Canva, Atlassian – all with very little investment in paid acquisition. To help accelerate our growth and global reach, we’re now looking to bring on our first individual focused on developing paid acquisition as a channel from the ground up. As the first Performance Marketer, you’ll drive our global paid media strategy and create a predictable growth engine for acquisition.
Proven experience in managing paid digital campaigns on a large scale. You have several years hand-on experience and a highly proficient understanding of paid all social and programmatic platforms. You ideally have demonstrated experience creating and scaling a paid media program globally.
Understanding of performance marketing. You have a solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and customer acquisition, ideally in a high-volume B2B SaaS environment. Some working knowledge and/or past experience across other advertising channels such as SEM and affiliate marketing is a plus.
Experience with B2B SaaS products. You understand product-led and organic growth strategies for B2B SaaS products and seen their implementation them before, and how paid media can be an accelerant for growth.
Excellent communicator. Excellent, concise communication so you can easily convey your thoughts, opinions, and feelings with customers and teammates.
A great attitude. The right attitude towards a sense of urgency, risk, and uncertainty about the future that comes with working at an early-stage startup. This is an opportunity to be involved in an exciting journey from the very start.
Pragmatism. You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, be resourceful to solve problems, and be able to adjust to shifting deadlines and project goals. We haven’t figured everything out yet, and you’ll be the first person in this role.
